Product Roadmap — April 2026

It's been a busy few months. We've gone from connecting our first systems to running live intelligence pipelines across ERP, field operations, and payroll — and we've just shipped something we're particularly excited about: a native Claude connector that lets you ask questions about your projects from anywhere.

Here's where Demiton is today, where we're headed next, and what it means for the construction firms we work with.

What's Live Today

Financial Intelligence — Per-Project P&L

Every active project now has a live profit and loss position pulled directly from Business Central. Budget, actuals, commitments, and variance — broken down by cost category (Labour, Materials, Plant, Subcontract, Overheads) and updated daily. Projects are flagged GREEN, AMBER, or RED based on variance thresholds so you can see at a glance which jobs need attention.

This was our first pipeline and it's become the one feature that PMs and directors check every morning.

Site Diary Intelligence

Assignar site diaries are now searchable. Every diary submitted by your field teams is ingested, enriched with project metadata, and indexed. You can ask "What happened on Pacific Highway last Tuesday?" and get an answer in seconds — no more scrolling through Assignar looking for a specific entry during a dispute or insurance claim.

We also track diary compliance: which projects have submitted their diaries, which haven't, and who's consistently falling behind. Alerts go out automatically.

Vendor Statements & Subcontractor Management

Finance teams can now generate vendor statements from live Business Central data, route them through approval workflows, and deliver branded PDFs — without touching a spreadsheet. The vendor directory includes posting group filtering, aged analysis, and invoice breakdowns.

Scheduling Demand Capture

Project managers submit their weekly resource demands through a conversational interface instead of emailing spreadsheets. Demiton extracts structured requirements (roles, equipment, activities), auto-links workers via Assignar competency matching, and pushes confirmed allocations directly to Assignar. The scheduler sees a unified view across all projects rather than reconciling five different Excel formats.

Blueprint Engine & Template Gallery

Blueprints are Demiton's workflow engine — deterministic pipelines that FETCH data from external systems, TRANSFORM it through business logic, and PUSH results back. Every Blueprint run is recorded with full audit trails. We recently shipped a simulation mode so you can dry-run any pipeline and inspect the output before committing.

The Template Gallery now includes pre-built pipelines for site diary ingestion, diary compliance monitoring, vendor P&L reports, dimension usage audits, and Assignar form data exports. Deploy a template, configure it through a wizard, and it's running on a schedule.

The Shed — Gamification

Construction is competitive by nature, so we leaned into it. The Shed tracks XP, crew leaderboards, and recognition across the platform. Workers earn points for diary submissions, compliance streaks, and platform engagement. It sounds like a nice-to-have until you see diary compliance jump 30% after turning it on.

What We Just Shipped

Claude Connector (MCP)

This is the big one. Demiton now exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector that lets you query your operational data directly from Claude — on desktop, mobile, or web.

Ask Claude "How's the Pacific Highway job tracking?" and it pulls the live P&L from Demiton. Ask "Which projects are missing site diaries this week?" and it checks compliance across your portfolio. Ask "What do we owe Pacific Concrete?" and it returns the vendor position from Business Central.

Seven tools are available: project financials, project listings, diary compliance, site diary search, vendor positions, scheduling status, and comprehensive project detail. Two prompts generate a daily morning briefing or a deep project health check.

The connector is read-only and identity-bound. Every query is traceable. No data leaves the governed perimeter — Claude calls Demiton, Demiton calls your source systems, and the answer comes back through the same audited pipeline as everything else.

Your data meets your team where they already work.

Dimension Usage Audit

For Business Central users: Demiton can now audit your dimension usage across the general ledger, identifying orphaned dimensions, inconsistent tagging, and entries that don't align with your cost category structure. This is the kind of analysis that takes a finance team days to do manually — it runs as a scheduled pipeline and surfaces the results in-app with dynamic wizard fields so you can scope the audit to specific companies or date ranges.

Assignar Form Data Export

We built a bulk export pipeline that discovers every form template in your Assignar environment, fetches all responses, and outputs them as structured data. Useful for compliance audits, data migration, or just getting your field data out of a single system and into a format you can work with.

What's Coming Next

Q2 2026: Opportunity-to-Claim Pipeline

This is our most ambitious pipeline yet. We're building a complete lifecycle from opportunity detection through to progress claims.

Opportunity Sync — Demiton will monitor Business Central for new opportunities, automatically provision SharePoint project folders, and track the opportunity through its lifecycle stages.

Estimating Integration — We're building a Pronamics adapter to import estimates, normalise them through a cost category map, and align them with BC work type codes. This gives you a single view of estimated vs. actual cost at the SOR level.

Estimate-to-Budget — Approved estimates will push directly to BC job planning lines, eliminating the manual re-keying that currently happens between estimating and finance.

Progress Claims — Multi-source aggregation across BC actuals, Assignar labour and plant data, and project budgets to generate progress claims. We're starting with TfNSW and TMR claim formats.

Q2–Q3 2026: White-Label Platform

Demiton is being architected for multi-tenancy. Each tenant will use their own colours, logo, and fonts across the entire platform. This is foundational work for our expansion beyond PCA — every new client gets a branded experience from day one.

Ongoing: Testing & Platform Maturity

We've invested heavily in automated testing — 800+ backend unit tests, 310+ frontend tests, 30+ E2E workflow tests, and a CI pipeline that gates every PR. Playwright visual regression testing catches UI regressions before they ship. We'll continue expanding coverage, particularly around RBAC boundary testing and deeper functional tests for scheduling and compliance workflows.

The Bigger Picture

Construction firms run on 4–6 core systems that were never designed to talk to each other. Business Central doesn't know what Assignar knows. Assignar doesn't know what PayCat knows. The gap between these systems is filled by spreadsheets, emails, and people manually copying data between tabs.

Demiton doesn't replace any of those systems. It sits between them, keeps them aligned, and makes the combined intelligence accessible to the people who need it — whether that's a project manager on a mobile phone, a finance controller in the office, or a director asking Claude a question from their couch on a Sunday night.

We deploy two new clients per quarter. If you're a mid-tier Australian construction firm running Business Central and Assignar, we'd like to talk.
