Nobody Asked

A supervisor signs up with her own email, on her own project, and six weeks later five people are using it. The free plan, and why the work decides when you pay.

A woman in work clothes at a kitchen table late at night with a phone at her ear, a mug and a closed notebook on the table and one lamp on, rain on the window. The title Nobody Asked is set over it.
01
A printed record page of ruled lines on a black field.
02
What signing up asks for, as four labelled fields: email, company, project, card.
03
The reverse trial, as four labelled fields from day zero to day fourteen.
04
Free, Baseline, or a conversation, as three labelled rows with their terms.
05
What free actually includes, as four labelled fields: your projects, your systems, protection to a million, and Studio.
06
An excavator silhouetted in heavy rain before dawn.
07
The first thing it caught, as four labelled fields, from a show cause window on day twelve to what she paid, which is nothing.
08
A crib room with a crew around a long table and two speech balloons.
09
Three construction workers in wet hi-vis gathered around one phone held up by the middle one.
10
Six weeks in, as four labelled bars: one supervisor, two leading hands, one contracts admin, one site engineer.
11
A lone figure standing between idle machines in rain.
12
A man in a business shirt standing in a doorway, with two speech balloons.
13
Two figures on a wet site with two speech balloons reading who approved it and nobody asked.
14
The four questions IT and procurement ask, as four labelled fields.
15
A caption only, over a near black field.
16
What free does not include, as four labelled fields: agent runs, web search, model hours, and what free therefore is.
17
The day it becomes a purchase, as four labelled fields, from the work crossing a million to the fee.
18
A pulled quote: it was already installed, you are not buying software, you are buying cover.
19
A phone showing Ask Demiton and a code, above the line Start free, never half a project.

Plan terms on these panels come from the platform seed, read 2026-09-30: Free is a covered tier at AU$1M of projects a calendar year, Baseline is AU$55,000 a year flat to AU$100M of contract value under watch plus a margin bonus of 25 per cent of cash recovered on the first AU$1M, and the third option is a conversation. The ceiling admits projects; it never covers half of one. The self-serve signup logic is built; its public page is not yet. Bridgeworks is a demo company.
