Delete your Demiton account

1. Email privacy@demiton.io from the email address your Demiton account uses, with the subject Delete my account.
2. Include the email address of the account and the name of your organisation, so we can identify the right record.
3. We verify the request comes from the account holder, then confirm by email once the deletion is complete. We respond within 30 days.

Requests are handled by a person. There is no automated deletion, so email is the only way to have an account removed.

• Your name and email address, and the rest of your user profile.
• Your sign-in identity links, and any stored authentication tokens.
• Your conversations with Demiton, including the questions you asked, the answers returned, and any photos you attached to them.
• Your membership of, and permissions within, any organisation.

• Your organisation's operational data. Demiton reads project, workforce, plant and financial records from the systems your business already runs. That data belongs to the organisation, not to you personally, and deleting your user account does not delete it. If you are the account owner and want the organisation and its data removed, say so in your request.
• Audit records. Records of who accessed what are retained for seven years under the audit retention obligation described in our Privacy Policy. These are retained in a reduced form that identifies the action, not the content.
• Billing records. Where your organisation holds a paid subscription, invoices and payment records are retained for the period Australian tax and corporations law requires.
• Encrypted backups. Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups after deletion, and are removed as those backups age out within 90 days.

You do not have to close your account to have specific data removed. Email privacy@demiton.io describing what you want deleted — particular conversations, attached photos, or all of your conversation history — and we will action it within 30 days without touching the rest of your account.

The chat list in the app offers an Archive action. Archiving removes a conversation from your list but retains its content on our systems — it is deliberately not a deletion. Email the address above if you want the content erased rather than archived.

Verified deletion requests are actioned within 30 days of receipt. Where a request is complex, we may extend that period with written notice, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
