SWMS template builder, by job type

A SWMS template is a starting point, and the Regulation already says what the statement must cover. This builder assembles that from the library for your state and job type: the high risk construction work the row names, where the contents are set, and the duties around the statement, each with its section. The site details and the controls stay blank for the people doing the work.

High risk construction work on this job

r 291 lists 18 kinds of high risk construction work; the library names 5 of them. The rest are in the Regulation. Tick the ones this job involves. A suggestion for the job type is a starting point; the contractor determines which kinds apply, not the builder.

Nothing you type leaves the browser.

The scaffold appears here: the work in the row's words, where the statement's contents are set, and the duties around it. The site details stay blank.

What the builder will and will not write

It prints the kinds of high risk construction work the library's row names for the state, the sentence that says where the statement's contents are set, and the duties around the statement: the copy to the principal contractor and how long it is kept. It does not write the controls. A SWMS is written for the work in front of you, and a scaffold is not a completed statement.

Every duty, window and section behind it is on the SWMS chapter, state by state.

What this page is, and is not

It is the section text this library holds for each state's WHS law, with the window and the consequence. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for reading the Act, the Regulation and the contract you signed.

No library of law is complete, and Demiton never says this one is. An obligation the library does not hold, and you did not add, is not protected. You can add your own to any job.

Clauses read from the obligation library, release v22, last checked against the source on .

Common questions

Is this a SWMS template?

It is a scaffold. The Regulation sets what the statement must contain, and the builder assembles that from the library, with the section beside every line. The site details and the controls stay blank, because only the people doing the work can write them.

Which states and territories does it cover?

It builds for Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, Australian Capital Territory and Northern Territory.

Who decides which kinds of high risk construction work apply?

The contractor. The builder suggests kinds for a job type as a starting point; the Regulation does not tie kinds to job types, and the work on the day decides.

Does anything I type leave the browser?

No. The site details stay in this page. The builder sends nothing to Demiton, there is no account, and there is no sign-up. If you want Demiton to manage your SWMS, contact us.
